Are you ready to more fully engage your students in your math classroom? Join us for a jam-packed, interactive session on increasing student engagement and facilitating classroom discussions across all levels of math from Grade 6 to AP Calculus. Be prepared to participate, have fun, and learn from one another.

This session is designed for anyone who wants to increase the level of mathematical discourse in their classroom. Using Derivita and SpotCheck, participants will employ practical strategies aimed at getting students to verbalize their thinking and engage with one another as well as implement the five practices for orchestrating mathematical discussions (Smith & Stein). Participants will leave the session armed to deploy these strategies the very next day in their classes. Come prepared to participate!
